VH-CKI de
Havilland D.H.82A Tiger Moth
(c/n DHA820/T020)
Here's VH CKI at its owner's farm at
Peringellup WA in December 1969. Photo by Geoff Goodall.
It was
painted in this rather complex scheme of blue and white, having been
converted back to a two
seater in
1966. Prior to that it had been VH-DAH,
an agricultural craft,
with Doggett Aviation. It
was originally
built as A17-670 and was rather late in being civilianized (as Tigers
go) becoming
VH-BWO in 1958, holding
that identity for a year before going on to Doggett. It was
finally with-
drawn from use in 1975.
