VH-CBP  Piper PA-23-250 Aztec C                        (c/n  27-2875)

                                

                                        Here's VH-CBP in a Geoff Goodall shot at Perth Airport in October 1969 (ex N5751Y) when
                                        owned by Preston Air Charters of Perth and looking very sharp in its original sharp factory color
                                        scheme.  It was first registered on 18 November 1966 to J. Naylor of Julia Creek, Qld.    It later
                                        served with Carpentaria Flying Service in North Queensland, and was purchased by Dudley
                                        Preston in July 1969.    Geoff saw it in the same spot several years later in April 1974, but by now
                                        repainted and with a new owner, Boxall Air Charter of Bunbury WA.  It is still flying and Martyn
                                        Covey took the contemporary shot at the foot of the page at Mildura in August 2008. It is currently
                                        registered to Gobel Aviation of Bendigo.
