VH-BXU
Percival P.34A Proctor III
(c/n K.401)
This was the former G-ANWY, (ex Z7212)
purchased by Roy Williams of Bondi, Sydney and flown
out to
Australia in 1957 by Roy Edwards. It was
first registered as VH-BXU on 11 April 1958.
After several other
owners in the Sydney area it was struck off the register in March 1962.
It was then
repurchased by Williams (for sentimental reasons - he had no intent to
recertify it) and moved to his
property near Camden, NSW where this shot by Neville Parnell was taken
in May 1970. Parts were
later acquired by Percival enthusiast Leigh Giles and offered for sale.
