VH-BNP
Auster J/2 Arrow (c/n 2351)
The
Royal Queensland Aero Club's Arrow in 1952 at Archerfield. Note
old Qantas hangar.
This
aircraft was formerly G-AIGN and was exported to Australia in
1950. It was re-registered
VH-RQK when the RQAC decided to
'personalize' their registrations in 1958. In 1963 it was
sold and re-registered as
VH-PUK. It was fitted with a
Lycoming 0-235-C1 in 1973 and is, I
think, still alive and well and
living in Queensland.
