VH-BIG (1)    de Havilland D.H.82A Tiger Moth                    (c/n  DHA795)

                             

                                  The above shot of VH-BIG (formerly A17-645) was taken at Bankstown by Allan Yee (The
                                  Collection p1234-1825) when the Tiger was part of the Morris Air Service flying school fleet in
                                  1949.  It was sold to Rural Aviation of Parafield in January 1953, and is seen at that location in
                                  the photo below.  VH-BIG was written off in a crash at Clare, South Australia in 1954.
