VH-BGJ de Havilland D.H.82A
Tiger Moth
(c/n 83185/T326)
A typical "working"
agricultural Tiger photographed by Geoff Goodall reposing somewhat
forlornly
behind the barn at
Bathurst, NSW in January 1964. This was one of the
UK built Tigers which
served with the
RAAF, but retained its RAF serial (T5460). It has spent
virtually all of its civilian
career at Bathurst,
although is no longer a crop duster, and has been restored in a smart
white finish
with blue
trim, as seen in the shot (below) taken by Ian Brackley at Maitland,
NSW on 25 October
2003 when
the aircraft attended "The Great Tiger Moth Air Race"
