VH-BGA de havilland
D.H.82A Tiger Moth
(c/n DHA915/T320)
Here's VH-BGA at Cunderdin, WA in January
1964 at the end of a row of retired agricultural
Tigers owned by Bob Couper Co. The cropsprayer had Dumbo the
Elephant as its nose art
Airport security fences were fairly basic back in those
days. (Try it now!). The above image
was
taken by Alistair Coutts (via the Geoff goodall
collection). VH-BGA was written of when
it crashed at
Cunderdin in November 1964. The Tiger had been A17-492 in
the RAAF.
