VH-BEI de Havilland D.H.82A Tiger Moth
(c/n DHA203)
Here's -BEI at Maylands in June 1963 after it had finished its days as
a cropduster, but still as a
single-seater. Color scheme was red and silver. (Below, it
is seen as an agricultural machine at
Toodyay, WA in May 1957 whilst with David Gray & Co Ltd of
Perth). In June 1964 this Tiger
blown
over by a wind gust while taxiing and such was the low value of Tiger
Moths at that time it
was considered
not worth the repair bill. Both photos are from the Geoff
Goodall collection, the
one above being originally taken by Alistair Coutts.
