VH-BAQ (1)   de Havilland D.H.82A Tiger Moth             (c/n   613)

Here's a Q.A.A.T.S. (Queensland Aerial Ambulance Transport Service) Tiger Moth outside the
office of that organization at Archerfield, circa 1947.   This is a rare photograph inasmuch as this
Tiger was damaged in a crash at Kenilworth, Queensland, on Christmas Day, 1948.  John Unwin,
who was an engineer for Q.A.A.T.S. at the time took the shot of it below.  One thing is for sure,
it certainly would not have been "written off" today!  It hardly look damaged.  However, back in
1948 Tiger's were, if not "two a penny", certainly very plentiful and at reasonable prices!
