VH-ATJ de
Havilland D.H.82A Tiger Moth
(c/n DHA873)
VH-ATJ was the former A17-456.
The aircraft is
still on the register, and still in Victoria.
It has had a
series
of pseudo WW I German
liveries over the past three decades. In the above
Laverton in February 1984, it carries the name 'Lily Marlene' on
the
cowling. . Geoff's earlier shot below was at Moorabbin in 1966,
whilst photo no 3 by
. Greg Banfield
shows it at Camden, NSW in
October 1978, with a taped-on Pacific Film
advertisement, Finally the image at the foot of the page is
from the Barry Maclean
collection
and
shows -ATJ at Pt. Cook, Victoria, all dolled up as an
Albatross DV (?) Whatever.
