VH-ART  de Havilland D.H.82A Tiger Moth                        (c/n DHA592)

                                      

                                           VH-ART was originally civilianized in May of 1946, being ex A17-417.  It has been off and on the
                                           register many times over the years and in the new millennium was beautifully restored in (fairly) auth-
                                           entic RAAF colors as seen in Phil Vabre's shot below, taken at the Easter Airshow at Kyneton, Vic
                                           in April 2006.  The toilet paper adhering to the tailplane was as a result of "Captain Boggles"  (sic
                                           Biggles?) streamer cutting exhibition,    The earlier photo (above), by Greg Banfield was at an air
                                           show at Point Cook, Victoria in .December 1973.
