VH-AEF (2) Cessna 337 Super Skymaster
(c/n 337-0266)
Originally to have been VH-ROY when imported
in February 1966, this Super Skymaster went
to Aerial
Enterprises of Derby, WA and hence was registered into their VH-AE
series instead.
This company had
standardized on the 337 for many years. When seen by Geoff
Goodall above
at Jandakot, Perth in July 1971, however, -AEF had passed to
Trans West Air Charter, who also
maintained a
modest fleet of the twin boom Cessna model. Better than a year
later (October 1972)
Geoff saw it again
(below) at Kalgoorlie, WA by which time it had shed its original Cessna
paint
job for the
new all red tail livery, recently adopted by Trans
West. Finally, at the foot of the page
is a photo by
David Freeman of -AEF at Parafield in September 1975, showing it in the
livery of
Brenton Miller's
Airtours of Adelaide. This aircraft is still current and today is
registered to a private
owner in
Queensland.
