VH-ACO  (1)  de Havilland D.H.94 Moth Minor           (c/n  94049)

                              

                                    The above photo is from the family album of Aaron Betts.  It was taken at either Cambridge
                                    Airport, Hobart or Belmont Common, Geelong. in the early 1950s.  VH-ACO was a pre-war
                                    Moth Minor imported in January 1940 (must have been one of the last civilian aircraft to arrive).
                                    It appears never to have been impressed into RAAF service.    It was withdrawn from use in
                                    1949 and parts of it were used in the restoration of VH-ACS., another 1940 imported Moth
                                    Minor.   The fuselage was seen stacked in a hangar at Moorabbin in October 1960 .  Photo
